  • Pours clear with a nice white foam to cover; an in inch thick. Retention is mediocre at best. leaving behind nary a clue to earlier glory. Lacing is sporadic but exists.

Aroma is nice. Tropical pineapple, citrus and pine. Pleasant. Notes of honey.

Taste follows the nose. Honey is subtle at best. But the mango comes through either because of the hop addition or the mango itself. I say hops as it is tropical. I feel that mango by itself is more herbal/green in taste/aroma.

Finishes dry. Bigger end of light body. Average carbonation, adding to the mouth feel. Dry, assume a low mash temp and honey adds to fermentability.

An easy drinking beer with complexity of honey and mango, giving the beer solid depth. Drinks much bigger than 4% abv would suggest. If you take the beer for what it is, it is a solid offering. Enjoy!
