  • Friended to me by a neighbor whom is just starting to get into IPAs. This one didn't agree with him.

Pours clear with a half inch of white as snow foam. Retention is average or better. Lacing is immediate.

Aroma of pine is up front and strong. Citrus (grapefruit), grass, and herbal notes partake as well. Cracker and bread are lent by the malt.

Taste is sweet up front, some of which lingers in the finish. Bitterness is brought on quickly in the end, somewhat stiff, growing. Grapefruit, pine and grass hops give character. Resinous.

Medium body while carbonation is befitting. Crisp. Slight burning of the nostril from the alcohol.

Not overly bitter with a nice balance. There is some alcohol but not enough to deter. Enjoy!
