From a can with date of 2/24/2020. Purchased at Iron & Glass last week.
Pours about a clear as you can get from a beer these days that is hoppy. Huge, pure white foam covers. Froths as it recedes, leaving spiderweb, sticky lacking.
Aroma of grass, herbal, citrus (orange and grapefruit), and pine. Cracker and light caramel sweetness from the malt.
Taste has neutral malt sweetness in order to allow the hops to not be muddied. Pine, herbal, grass, and orange/grapefruit are the starts but there is herbal/grass bitterness that lingers.
Light end of medium body, possibly slipping into light body. Crisp and clean with stiff late bitterness.
Brings back memories when west coast IPAs were all the rage. I don't miss the bitterness. Hop Butcher makes amazing NEIPAs, this isn't one of them, therefore seek those out instead. Enjoy!
