  • From a can gifted to me by Mike. No date on can.

Pours cloudy, not murky, with a finger of white foam. Retention is average with thin layer lasting. Sporadic lacing.

Aroma has indistinguishable berries but berries are strong. The berries come after the pine, mango and passion fruit. Suggestively sweet.

Taste fails compared to the aroma. Hop flavor is there but muted: pine and herbal/grassy.

Thin body with an overabundance of carbonation that boosts an artificial bitterness, both lingering on the sides of the tongue.

Cut back on the carbonation (which would thin it out unfortunately) to allow the hop profile a better grasp in the taste. The carbonation would help the finish of the beer as well. This all said, in the middle of summer and not trying to rate this beer, I believe I may like it more. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • A quaffable and quenchable session hazy IPA. Blended Mosaic, Galaxy, and Simcoe hops for a crushable tropical themed IPA. With notes of pine, mango, and an array of berries, balanced with a touch of lactose and a modest grain bill. Sniff. Sip. Repeat!
