Pours opaque but with the nice brightness of the style. Huge amount of unblemished white foam. Great staying power. Lacing is sticky, creating a beautiful web pattern in the glass.
Aroma is tropical and piney. Hints of cracker sweetness. Citrus.
Taste has that initial hop burn that lingers, typical of a very fresh NEIPA. Tropical but nondescript between specific type as the pine builds and overtakes.
Thinner than most NEIPAs but only up front: light end of medium body. Medium carbonation.
The hop burn of a very fresh NEIPA always intrigues me but does also distract. Probably another week or so and this beer would round out nicely. I think pine takes away from the juiciness of a NEIPA and is best left for other styles. Enjoy!
