From a can purchased at Flight Bottle Shoppe. Date on can cannot be read. Assuming beginning of July.
Pours cloudy with over an inch of white foam. Retention is great with the foam becoming a nice, creamy top. Lacing is thick.
Aroma is straight up citrus. Sweet stone fruits and resin scents creep up, adding complexity.
Taste is a mix of citrus, stone fruits, sweetness, and resin. The finish is bitter grapefruit.
Medium body with a stiffer carbonation than most for the style. Not creamy. A rough, bitter finish.
Another beer, another let down from Other Half. A beer that is three weeks old shouldn't fall off this much from how it is perceived by the public. The harsh finish makes this beer really tough. Enjoy!
"Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza." - Dave Barry
