  • Poured clear. Big foam that was white and fluffy. Retention was okay but it became a thin film on top of my beer quite quickly. Some blotchy lacing but not much.

Nice hoppy aroma with some caramel and toasty malt scents.

Taste follows the nose to a 't'. There is some spicy flavors from the hops with the toasty, caramel and sweetness coming through in the malt.

Light body with a bit of carbonation.

Let's face it this is a macro brew trying to masquerade as a micro brew. The beer is average at best as most of Leinenkugel's beers are. You know what you are getting before you even start. Enjoy!
