Purchased at Flight Bottle Shoppe on 2020-10-01. Date on can of 09/30/20.
Pours cloudy. A half-inch of white foam covers the pale gold/orange liquid. Quickly recedes but leaves very sporadic, non-sticky lacing.
Aroma of straight up lemon squares, just like Mom used to make, includes the powder sugar on top. Sweet lemon is up front an thoroughly takes this beer by storm.
Taste is bolder than the aroma. The sugary lemon is a swift kick in the teeth with it ebbing towards some type of household cleaner.
Light end of medium body. Spritzy carbonation. Dry.
The aroma is fantastic and made me miss my Mom's lemon squares but that's where it all stops. The taste is too bold on the lemon, bringing me to cleaning supplies, not beer. The carbonation eats on the enamel of my teeth. I would not purchase this beer again. Enjoy!
