Pours cloudy with a huge pure white, billowing foam. Great retention that last for days. Lacing is thin but numerous and sticky.
Aroma of orange up front which quickly gives way to ripe tropical fruits: pineapple and mango. Peach and some booze can be found.
Light bread malt mingles with pine and citrus (white grapefruit and orange).
Very late there is either a hop burn, booze burn, and/or hop (pine) bitterness. This begins to linger and build, reminisces me to a West Coast IPA rather than a hazy/juicy IPA.
Medium body with similar carbonation. Juicy up front but quickly dries and becomes bitter.
This is a really nice beer but definitely far from perfect. The taste is light on the tropical/peach notes from the nose that I was expecting, instead allowing the pine to shine; which isn't a bad thing. The bitterness in the finish and the occasional booze are not what I expect from the style. I would have this again, guardedly. Above average beer but the price point makes it less accessible due to the faults. Enjoy!
