    Pours cloudy/opaque with half a glass of white foam. Great retention. Lacing is wispy but sticky.

    Aroma of mango, pineapple, and orange.

    Taste follows the nose. Good mango, pineapple and orange. Little bitterness that counters the mellow sweetness of the drink

    Light end of medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is similar. Juiciness that doesn’t fade. Bravo.

    No date can and from the east coast. This usually means that it is at least 30 days day old. In spite of this, the beer is a solid offering. It makes me want for a fresh can of Fugu. I would have this again. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • As Spring fades to Summer, these warm days have us wanting a superbly drinkable, yet abundantly flavorful IPA. Fugu is Inspired by beach days on the Connecticut coast, a perfect wooded New England hike, and catching just the right wave right after sunrise. Immensely aromatic and complexly hoppy for its crushable nature, Fugu combines a carefully selected combination of American hops. Flavors of earthy citrus, papaya, grapefruit, and a subtle note of watermelon all swirl on the pallet with a finishing pop of appropriate bitterness.
