Had on tap at the brewery.
Slight head but that could be the 5oz pour. Off white Ia color before it dissipates.
Aroma is more malt forward than hoppy. Bready, cracker sweetness that has some caramel.
Taste follows the nose: malt forward, even the finish. There is a herbal, spicy bitterness that slowly matures between sips. There is some type of fruit punch jolly rancher in the middle that quickly fades back to the malt.
Medium body with medium to light carbonation. Somewhat juicy. Dries a touch.
An interesting beer. Not what I would consider a knock your socks off representation of the style. But balance and easy to drink. Almost crisp. I would have it again but make sure you understand up front your endeavor. Enjoy!
