Poured opaque with some brown hints on the edges. 30% of the glass was filled with tan, very frothy foam. Some good retention with a sticky lacing from the begging that is touch and clingy.
Aroma is mild at best. Tough to pick up much. Roasted and chocolate malt seems to be the biggest players.
Taste has a nice roasted malt to the middle lasting through the end. There is some chocolate and coffee presence but it is mild.
Large mouth feel with a good carbonation feel up front that dissipates. Drying in the end but not as much as expected.
A really easy to drink beer. A little thin to me, maybe because I drank two big beers before it. It is still a very drinkable stout that most could easily fancy. Enjoy!
