Poured cloudy with almost no foam, retention, or lacing. Still the beer was quite enticing in the glass.
Aroma is pine and citrus malt with a nice caramel backbone. A little light though.
Taste is almost exactly what the nose finds. Caramel sweet malt to balance while citrus and pine hops push their way to the top. Some bitterness to the finish which gracefully dissipates.
Medium body and medium carbonation. The resinous nature of the beer, especially in the middle, seems misplaced. Makes me wonder if it is getting a little out of date.
A solid beer that has nice hops and malt balance without being over the top like some IPAs can be. A bit of alcohol finds it way to the nose and mouth as I get closer to the finish. Enjoy!
