  • Several inches of frothy, three-inch, off-white foam cover the clear beer below. Retention is really nice. Lacing begins as it recedes leaving a sticky, web like foam on the sides.

Aroma is caramel malt sweetness with some citrus hops. Citrus seems to be mainly an orange scent. Light on the sniffer though.

Taste is big hops up front. Bitter from the beginning. The flavor of the hops come out but it quickly just becomes grapefruit bitterness all the way through to the end. Maybe some sweetness in the middle.

Medium carbonation on top of a medium, maybe lighter, body.

Having a tough time with this one. The bitterness that seems to be the complete center of the beer is lost on me. It makes it almost impossible to finish a 12 ounce beer let alone more. Enjoy!

  • A: Nice deep orange color and full bubbly, foamy head with reasonable retention. Pretty clear and crisp look.

S: Hard to tell, me or the brew...mostly the brew. Not so much.

T: Quickly semi-fruit and hop bite. Kind of muddled, not offensive but not any assertive positive personality either.

D: There's nothing wrong. Mostly bready and caramel lite taste followed a hollow hop bitterness. Drinkable and likeable, not loveable...at least to me in this moment. To quote Billy S., "Damned with faint praise."
