Pours cloudy with minimal white foam that had very little retention becoming nothing but a ring around the outside of the beer. Lacing is non-existent. Aroma is blueberry but not over the top but it is prominent. Sweet and almost a sense of viscous. Taste is little off up front. Can't even explain it. Maybe almost a taste of spice or an overly intense blast of blueberry. It smooths out and becomes a blueberry bomb with some sweetness. Too much carbonation up front with a light body. Not a bad beer until the taste. The over the top use of blueberry is too much for me. I guess I am not a huge fan of this type of fruit beer. Enjoy!

A: Deep amber, fairly clear with a slight haze. Probably a little blue tint. Normal off-white foam head, dispates quickly. S: Fruity, but not overly blueberry. Kind of inviting, because it's unique and not obvious. T: Not as sweet and not as blueberry as I would have thought. Fair amount of carbonation that gives a crisp mouthfeel. Malt taste is there, just not the sweetness. And the hop bitterness comes in, but without a defined personality. D: Was sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. Brewers managed to balance alot of stuff fairly well. Pretty good beer using a local fruit for flavor deserves respect.
