Harpoon I.P.A.

So far Harpoon beers have been average. Looking to hopefully break the trend with this beer. Pours with a lot of light, white foam. Little retention and lacing. The nose was hit with flowery and citrus hops. There was hints of sweetness. The taste is a rerun of the aroma but with a pronounced flavor of malt sweetness. The hops are there but only at the end of the taste. It finishes with some bitterness but quickly disappears. A little on the high side of maltiness for an I.P.A. A light beer with an average amount of carbonation. If you are not an over the top hop head, then you will probably enjoy this beer. If you are looking for your taste buds to be bombarded by an insane hoppy flavor you might want to pass. In my opinion, one of the better offerings I have had by Harpoon. Enjoy!
