Poured from a can purchased at Flight Bottle Shoppe on 2021-03-04. Date on can of 2020-03-02.
Pours cloudy with a huge white foam that covers. Great retention with sticky lacing.
Aroma is bountiful: grapefruit, pine, mango, and orange. Hints of passion fruit and white grape.
Taste isn't as plentiful as the aroma. More pine with mango and traces of orange, grapefruit. White grape comes in late and lingers with minimal alcohol burn, including some green hop bitterness.
Medium body, possibly bigger as it trends towards creamy. Medium carbonation that sticks to the front of the tongue. Juicy finish that does dry over time.
This is a pleasant experience all the way around. It could be argued that there is a bit too much bitterness in the finish but I think it is needed to disguise the alcohol. That would be the only discredit to a well executed beer. I would definitely have this one again. Enjoy!
"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver.'" - Jack Handy
