Purchased at Iron & Glass Minooka on 10-23-2026. Date on can of 10-07-2026. Pours a pretty golden color into the glass. Slight chill haze - very slight. Finger plus of white foam. Good retention and immediate lacing: sticky, thick and sporadic. Aroma is quickly pineapple, orange, and mango. As it warms it becomes muddied ripe fruit with hints of herbal. Taste is more of the late nose: undisguisable fruits slapped together with an herbal presence. Some pine bitterness that lingers but not overpowering. Sweet malt: light caramel. Medium body. Small bubbled but lighter end of carbonation. Enough body to carry the beer w/out the carbonation - well thought out. Dry. Some lingering bitterness. I am on the fence on this beer. I think some things were done to push the envelope of the style with some newer hops. The base beer is pretty good but I feel that the caramel is better suited for an American Pale Ale than an American IPA. The hops, which fade somewhat quickly bringing the muddle flavors and some herbal don't hit the taste buds perfectly. Good beer, not great. I wouldn't have this beer again. Enjoy!
