Puppy's Breath Porter

Pours opaque with minimal tan foam. Retention and lacing aren't really much but believe this to be because of the pour from the tap. Aroma was pretty much focussed on roasted malt. Simple, straight forward, and not much else going on. Not complex. Taste was more of the same: roasted malt that didn't over commit. Coffee and chocolate come through also but on the minor side. Medium body and maybe lighter. Carbonation is about on average. A good offering that doesn't anything crazy with the style or the beer itself. I will have it again but not my favorite beer from Cigar City. Enjoy!
