Received as a gift from Sheri and Mike. Thank you!
Day 4 of 24 beers of Christmas 2021.
Pours crystal clear with subdued white foam on top. Retention is nothing special but the wispy, yet thick lacing ensues.
Aroma is strong grass backed by maltiness, light caramel, and rye spice.
Taste has more forward maltiness. Rye peaks in the finish along with a pleasant bitterness. Light pine and grape.
Light end of medium carbonation with medium carbonation. Dry finish with juicy edges.
I like he malt profile of this beer. It isn’t what you want to say about an IPA. The hops should be the star. Not a bad beer just nothing outstanding. I wouldn’t have this beer again. Enjoy!

One fine body…
These days we find that more and more IPAs are "laced" with milk sugar and other adjuncts or flavorings. It really takes away from what originally defined India Pale Ales in the craft beer movement. Don't get us wrong, we feel that these new school IPAs have their place, and we brew a few ourselves. But what we continually miss are the days of sitting down and throwing back a pint of fresh West Coast IPA, and especially when the hop profile is balanced with subtle spicy rye notes. If you too have been missing this, your wait is now over...
We used a blend of Sultana, Mosaic, and Nelson Sauvin hops to give this beer a pineapple ridden playing field with beautifully interwoven notes of pears, white wine, mangos, pine and No F&cking; Lactose.
