Purchased at Iron & Glass Minooka on 10-23-2026. Date on can of 10-07-2026.
Pours opaque and a bright pale gold color. Half a finger of white foam on a controlled pour. Thick lacing and great retention.
Aroma is tropical mango, possibly some passion fruit, lime and a dump of dank. Sweet: typical of hop butcher beers.
Taste has some tropical flavors up front: mainly mango. The middle is subdued by lime and berry sweetness that gives the sense of a sweet smoothy. Very interesting.
Medium body. Solid carbonation. Juicy but tails off dry. Surprisingly bitter that lingers.
HB is in love with dank hops. I am not. Also, the last few beers have had a hop bitterness, I don’t think it is hop burn, that wasn’t typically part of their beers. I am wondering if some of these crazy hop products are producing this? I didn’t like the dank aroma but that smooth sensational in the middle of the taste was unexpected but fantastic. I would have this beer again. Enjoy!
